This tournament tested layout is one of only three courses in California and one of the best 50 in the United Sates to receive this distinction in terms of conditioning. Firecliff, measuring 7056 yards, is a true test of skill where golfers must negotiate their way around extensive natural areas, over 100 bunkers, and numerous water features. Round of 18 Holes @ Cathedral Canyon
Designed by David Rainville, a specialist in California golf courses, Cathedral Canyon Golf & Tennis Club was built in the early 1970s as the centerpiece of the Cathedral Canyon Development. Renowned golfer Billy Casper assisted in the design of the original 18-holes, and 9-holes were added in 1978, providing a greater playing experience for everyone. Each of the courses: Arroyo, Mountain and Lake, display distinctive features such as tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers with rolling hills, all picturesquely meandering among 20 lakes. The surrounding San Jacinto Mountains are sure to offer the most breathtaking views in the Coachella Valley
Round of 18 Holes @ Mountain View Course
One of the more resort type southern California golf courses is Mountain View with wider fairways and limited desert waste areas. But dont be deceived, Mountain View, measuring 6,913 yards is rated just slightly less difficult than Firecliff. With more forgiving fairways, 98 well-placed bunkers, sloping greens, and seven water features, Mountain View still requires the best from golfers of all levels.

This La Quinta Resort Mountain course combines everything the desert has to offer. Many famous tournaments have been played on this legendary and exclusive " VIP players only " golfers paradise. Noted for pot bunkers, rock formations, sand and water. Watch for the par-3 16th hole which has a green that is surrounded by desert mountain rocks. The Mountain course has been the home to the World Cup, the PGA National Club Pro Championships and the California State Open. One of the top courses in the valley
