The Almeria coastline from Mojacar & Vera in the north to Almerimar in the south is as varied as any of the Costas. The rugged desert style terrain of the Cabo de Gata - Nijar Natural Park to the north of Almeria gets very little annual rainfall. Many of the sandy coves can only be reached on foot, whilst Mojacar further north combines the beach holiday with the hillside white village that just asks to be explored.
In the south are the more lively resorts of Roquetas de Mar, Aguadulce and Almerimar, but Almeria itself is well worth a visit, with its Alcazaba castle overlooking the city.
The Indiana Course at Desert Springs was the first Arizona style course to be opened in Spain, and Valle del Este is of similar design. La Envia and Playa Serena are also great courses, presenting challenges to all ability players.
