La Cala - America Course Costa del Sol North

Opened shortly after Campo Asia, Campo America, formerly the North Course, is some 250 metres longer and carries a par of 72 with five par 5s.
The wide maintained fairway and rough areas and more "joined" fairways make this a slightly easier driving course than Campo Asia, and  there are also fewer fairway bunkers.
Two, perhaps three, of the par 5s are reachable in two (holes 1, 9 and 15), and the par 3s are equally spectacular to those on Campo Asia.
Campo America requires accurate and well-judged shot-making on the approach as nearly three quarters of the greens are perched or slightly elevated.

The resort contains extensive practice facilities. It is the location for the only David Leadbetter Academy in Spain, which offers lessons and group classes for both beginners and experienced players, with multilingual professionals on hand to improve your game. Situated beside the six hole par 3 ‘executive’ course, the academy has a grass driving range, top-class instruction facilities including video analysis and a high-tech putting studio. In addition there are putting and chipping facilities.

There is a large putting green situated beside the clubhouse and a separate green with two sand bunkers for short game practice and a driving net.

The 19th Hole (Hoyo 19) is the favoured meeting place before and after a round, offering breakfast, lunch and evening meals as well as snacks throughout the day. There is an extensive range of drinks available and you can choose to sit in the air-conditioned lounge or on the ample, shaded terrace overlooking the 18th hole of Campo Asia.
